St. Charles, IL Pool Removal

This St. Charles, IL pool we removed was a style that we see often.  A vinyl liner pool with a vermiculite bottom and fiberglass sides.  The homeowners had enjoyed the pool, but it was starting to fail and they decided it was time for it to go.  There was an upper and lower concrete patio along with a paver patio surrounding a firepit.  We removed the lower concrete patio and left the upper patio, the paver patio, and firepit in place.  All of the concrete was broken down and left onsite as structural fill.  After backfilling and fine grading, our part of the project was complete.

Phase 2 for the homeowner is to expand the paver patio to provide a seating area and possibly include a gazebo.  At that time they will reconfigure their irrigation an install lawn.
